Basell to increase prices of its advanced polyolefin products sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa

March, 23, 2007 - Basell announced today that it will increase prices by € 80 per tonne on its Adsyl, Adflex and reactor grade Hifax products sold in the European, Middle East and African regions, effective April 1st.

“This increase is due to the continued escalation in energy, transportation and raw material costs,” said Anton de Vries, managing director of Basell Sales & Marketing Company B.V. and president of Basell’s Advanced Polyolefins Business.
