Basell announced today that it will increase prices by €150 per tonne for all polybutene-1 products sold in Europe effective November 1.

"Basell has maintained stable pricing for polybutylene-1 products since 2000, but the continuous escalation in raw material costs is such that we must pass on some of the increase to our customers,” said Martyn Tickner, Senior Vice President for Basell’s Advanced Polyolefins Business.
