Mainz, Germany, June 11, 2002 – Effective July 1, Basell will increase prices on all of its Advanced Polyolefins products sold in Europe by €100 per tonne.

This increase is necessary because Advanced Polyolefins margins remain unsatisfactory to sustain the business long term.
