Basell announced today that it will increase prices by 5 cents per pound for all of its advanced polyolefins products sold in North America effective August 1.

“This increase is necessary in response to the significant and continued rise in the cost of raw materials,” said Stephen Dwyer, senior vice president for Basell’s Advanced Polyolefins Business.
